Apply for DU Admission

According to a Delhi University official, candidates who did not select Delhi University as a preference while registering for CUET-UG can still apply for admission to the university through its CSAS portal. This provides an opportunity for DU aspirants to apply for admission even if they did not initially select Delhi University as a preference.

Haneet Gandhi, Dean of Admission, stated, “If a candidate has not selected Delhi University as a preference while registering for CUET-UG, they can still apply for admission to the university through the varsity’s CSAS portal. Similarly, if a student has selected desired programs, he/she can also apply for the programs during phase II of the CUET.”

The University of Delhi hosted a webinar discussing admission through the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2023. Students intending to change their contact information have been cautioned by the university, clarifying that the contact details provided in the CUET UG application form will be considered ‘authentic’. All candidates have the option to provide additional mobile numbers and email IDs as alternative contact information. It is crucial to emphasize that official communication will exclusively be sent to the contact details provided in the CUET UG application form. Candidates should ensure that the contact information in the application form is accurate and up to date to avoid missing out on important updates and notifications.

DU Admission 2023-24

This year, the CSAS (UG) registration is divided into two phases. In the first phase, candidates will need to fill in their personal details and academic scores obtained in Class 12. The second phase will commence after the CUET UG score is declared. During the second phase, candidates will log in to their CSAS dashboard and complete the preference filling process.

Starting this year, Delhi University has implemented a new policy allocating 5% of the total sanctioned strength of every college for the ECA (Extra-Curricular Activities) and sports supernumerary quota. This quota aims to provide admission opportunities to students with exceptional talent in extracurricular activities and sports.

These updates aim to provide flexibility and options for candidates seeking admission to Delhi University and ensure a fair and inclusive selection process.
