Is CA a difficult Course?

Yes, CA is a difficult course to clear. The CA syllabus is vast and includes various complex topics that students find hard to study.

What is the eligibility for CA?

Candidates must have to complete their 10th and 10+2 from any recognized Board with a minimum aggregate 50% marks in any stream preferably Commerce. Furthermore, there is no age restriction to apply for the CA foundation course.

How many years is required to become a CA?

To become a CA, candidates require at least 5 years if they clear all the exams on the first attempt. If not, then each extra attempt will increase the CA Course duration by 6 more months.

Does ICAI provides free classes for CA Foundation?

You can attend Free ICAI virtual coaching classes at Live.ICAI.org/bos/vcc/. The classes can also be viewed on the official ICAI YouTube channel.

How many months are required to prepare for CA Foundation?

You get a minimum of four months of study period after registration for the CA Foundation. To appear in the CA Foundation examinations, one has to pass 10+2 examinations. To pass the entrance test of the CA course, you must know all information regarding CA exams and have to be fully dedicated to your studies.

CSEET July 2023 Retest

We regret to inform that the CSEET conducted on 30th July 2023 via Remote Proctored mode encountered technical issues, leading to some candidates being unable to participate successfully. ICSI has apologized for the inconvenience caused. To assist those affected, ICSI is offering CSEET July 2023 Retest on 1st August 2023. Please make sure to appear for the re-test on the specified date. In case you miss the re-test, you will be marked absent for the CSEET.

ONE MORE TEST WILL BE CONDUCTED ON 1st AUGUST 2023

The authorities conducted the Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) on Sunday, 30th July 2023 through Remote Proctored mode.

The authorities have noticed that due to some technical issues, some candidates could not successfully appear in the CSEET, which was held on Sunday, 30th July 2023 through Remote Proctored mode.

To facilitate such candidates, the Institute is giving one more chance to appear in the same. The authorities will conduct a re-test on Tuesday, 1st August 2023. In case the concerned candidates will not appear in the test scheduled to be held on Tuesday ,1st AUGUST 2023, they will be marked absent for the CSEET.

The batch timings, User Id and Password for the CSEET to be conducted on 1st August 2023, shall be communicated by E-Mail / SMS to the candidates separately.

Candidates are requested to appear in the test using credentials to be sent at your Email Id’s or through SMS.

Candidates must ensure to download their Admit Cards along with instructions to the candidates at Institute’s website www.icsi.edu . Please read the instructions carefully, before appearing in the test.

Also download the latest version of mandatory Safe Exam Browser (SEB) in advance in your laptop/desktop from which you will be appearing in CSEET.

Please note that this will be the last chance and in case of failure to appear in the CSEET on 1st August 2023 candidates will be marked “Absent” and no further communication will be entertained in this regard.

Important Instructions

Hope, already you must have downloaded your Admit Card along with instructions to candidates for the same from Institute’s website. Please read the instructions carefully, before appearing in the test.

Remote proctors closely monitor your test-taking actions during the test.
Candidates must appear in the test in a cordoned area at their homes or nearby cyber cafes with no noise and no presence of any other person. Computer/laptop should have specific system requirement.
You can enable live proctoring at any time during the test.
For any technical assistance, please contact the designated technical support numbers. In case the line is busy please call up again after 5 minutes.
If test stops in between the test, please do not panic. Re-login after 3-4 minutes. Test will resume from where it stopped.
This Remote Proctoring test will run on Laptops, Desktops. Mobile phones and tablets will not host the test.
Ensure you are taking the test where you have no noise in the background and proper background lighting.
The purpose of the mock test is to acquaint the candidates with the completion of system requirements beforehand of the test. Additionally, it helps them familiarize themselves with the test format and enhances their preparedness for the actual examination.

How to Exit from the Safe Exam Browser (SEB)

Please Press Alt esc keys to exit from the Safe Exam Browser. (Before taking this action, you are required to complete the test. Please do not use this action during the test taking process.)
Please run SEB Repair tool, if icons are not visible after coming out from SEB and restart the laptops or desktop.
