Answer: The CSEET May 2023 exam was conducted on May 6, 2023.

Question: Is there negative marking for wrong responses in CSEET?

Answer: No, there is no negative marking in CSEET, so you won’t lose marks for incorrect answers.

Question: In what mode is CSEET conducted?

Answer: ICSI conducts CSEET through Online Remote Proctored Mode, allowing candidates to take the exam remotely.

Question: Will ICSI discontinue CS Foundation and replace it with CSEET?

Answer: Yes, ICSI has discontinued the CS Foundation program for new candidates and introduced CSEET as the entry-level exam. However, candidates who have already registered for CS Foundation can appear for the exam until their registration validity expires.

Question: Who is exempted from appearing in CSEET?

Answer: Students who have already passed the CS Foundation program, ICAI Final Course, or ICMAI Final Course are exempted from appearing for CSEET.

Question: Is my CS Foundation registration still valid?

Answer: Yes, candidates whose CS Foundation registration is still valid can appear for exams under the old CS Foundation program until the validity period expires.

Question: Is CSEET mandatory for all students?

Answer: Yes, from now on, every student entering the CS course will have to pass CSEET and then register for CS Executive. Only students who have passed CS Foundation, CA Final, and CMA Final are exempted from passing CSEET.
