Relaxation for Old Course Students Regarding Practical Training
Dear Students, we hope this message finds you well. We understand that the transition to the New Scheme of Education and Training has brought about some challenges. In light of this, we have made some important Relaxation for Old Course Students regarding practical training. Please take note of the following points:
1. Students who have cleared either of the groups of Intermediate Examination under Old Scheme:
You are allowed to opt for 3 years of Practical Training until 30th September 2023. Please ensure that you submit the Article Registration Form within 30 days from your decision to opt for this training. After this period, no forms will be accepted, even with condonation fees.
2. Intermediate Direct Entry Students under Old Scheme:
If you have registered or provisionally registered in the Intermediate Course under the Old Scheme, and you can provide satisfactory proof of passing the graduation examination with the required minimum marks, along with successful completion of the ICITSS Course, you may begin your 3 years of Practical Training by 30th September 2023. Remember to submit the Article Registration Form within 30 days from the start of your training. After this period, we will not accept any forms.
3. Students who originally registered through CPT/Foundation Route and later shifted to Direct Entry Scheme:
If you initially registered for Intermediate or its equivalent Course through the CPT/Foundation Route, and later switched to the Direct Entry Scheme after graduation, you are exempt from the eligibility criteria of completing 9 months of Practical Training for the November 2023 Intermediate Examinations. You can start your 3 years of Practical Training by 30th September 2023. Submit the Article Registration Form within 30 days from the start of your training. No forms will be accepted after this period.
Please be aware that these relaxations, due to the requirements of Regulations 45 & 50 in the New Scheme of Education and Training, are applicable as a one-time measure only.
Important Dates: The Article Registration Forms for the above-mentioned students will be available in the SSP Portal starting from 21st August 2023.
