CA Foundation Eligibility Criteria (New Second Batch starting for CA Foundation Dec 24)
Educational Qualification:
- Must have passed Class 10+2 examination or its equivalent from a recognized board.
- Candidates appearing in Class 12 examination can also apply.
Registration:
- Must register with the Board of Studies (BoS) of ICAI on or before the last date for registration.
Minimum Marks:
- No minimum marks required in Class 12 examination or its equivalent.
Age Limit:
- No specific age limit for appearing in the CA Foundation exam.
Provisional Registration:
- Candidates can register for the CA Foundation course after appearing in Class 12 examination.
Study Period:
- Must have undergone a minimum of four months study period before appearing in the CA Foundation exam.
Other Requirements:
- Must not have appeared in the CA Foundation examination under the old scheme.
- Candidates who have passed the Intermediate level examination or its equivalent from the ICAI or any other recognized Board are not eligible to apply for the CA Foundation course.
